Strategy & OKR facilitation for leadership teams

OKR strategy workshop: from a shared direction to company OKRs in two days

In our OKR strategy workshop, your leadership team agrees where the company stands, what success looks like in one, two and three years, and the 3–5 critical battles that close the gap. Then you turn them into company OKRs, so execution starts in the very next quarter.

How the OKR strategy workshop works

Three steps on day one, one clear result on day two. Each step builds on the last, so the team never debates solutions before it agrees on the starting point and the destination.

Two-day agenda: from strategy to company OKRs

Day one defines the direction and the strategic priorities. Day two turns them into actionable company OKRs. The agenda is a proposal; in the briefing we adapt it to your situation and agree what success after the workshop looks like.

  • Strategy work exists, but it has not yet turned into measurable goals and owners.
  • A new year, a new CEO or a new market phase calls for a reset.

FAQ about the OKR strategy workshop

What is an OKR strategy workshop?

An OKR strategy workshop connects strategy and execution in one format. On day one, the leadership team agrees where the company stands, what success looks like in one, two and three years, and which 3 to 5 critical battles close the gap. On day two, the team turns these priorities into company OKRs for the next quarter, with an owner for every Objective.

Who should take part?

The leadership team that owns the company results: the CEO or managing director and their direct reports. Everyone who will later be accountable for a company OKR should be in the room when the priorities are chosen.

Do we need OKR experience?

No. Day two starts with a practical 90-minute OKR training. It gives everyone the same language before the team drafts Objectives and Key Results. Teams that already work with OKRs use the session as a refresher.

How do we prepare?

We start with a one-hour preparation session with the sponsor. Structured questions about the status quo, ambitions and open decisions shape the agenda. Participants receive a short pre-read, so the two days are spent on decisions, not on explanations.

What do we take away from the two days?

A shared view of today, an agreed picture of success in one, two and three years, 3 to 5 critical battles with what, why and how, and a first set of company OKRs with baselines, targets, owners, first actions and a review rhythm for the quarter.

What happens after the workshop?

The team agrees regular check-ins, a mid-quarter review and an end-of-quarter review. If you like, we facilitate the quarterly OKR review and planning workshop as well, so the momentum carries into the next quarter.

Where and in which language do you run the workshop?
