Strategy workshop facilitator: a few priorities, clear owners, one plan

As your strategy workshop facilitator, I guide your leadership team through one focused day to agree what matters most, who owns it and what gets done in the next 90 days – so the team pulls in one direction the very next morning.

How the day works

Go wide, then focus, then sharpen

Every step of the day follows the same rhythm. That keeps a full day with a senior team calm, fast and fair – and it ends with decisions, not with a long list.

Widen

Many ideas

Everyone writes first, alone and in silence. Quiet voices and senior voices start from the same place.

Focus

A few priorities

Affinity mapping and dot voting turn a wall of ideas into three to five priorities – and a not-now list that frees capacity.

Sharpen

A clear picture

For every priority: what success looks like, what could stop us, what must be true – the raw material for Objectives and Key Results.

Workshop outline

Six steps with your strategy workshop facilitator

We agree the exact flow together in a short briefing – including what success after the workshop means for you. This is the proven backbone.

What matters most

“If we could only do three things – which would they be?”

How we work together

Think first, then talk

Four simple agreements make the difference between another long meeting and a day that actually decides something.

Write first

Everyone thinks and writes alone before we discuss.

Facts first

What we know – before what we think.

Full focus

Laptops closed, minds open.

Decide and own

Every decision leaves the room with a name on it.

FAQ

Good questions before you book

Why hire an external strategy workshop facilitator?

So every leader can fully take part – including the most senior person – while someone neutral keeps time, focus and fairness and makes sure the day ends with decisions.

Do we need to know OKRs already?

No. The day works with or without OKR experience. The priorities and success pictures you create become your first Objectives and Key Results.

Is one day really enough?

For a clear set of priorities, owners and a 90-day plan: yes. If you want to roll OKRs out to your teams afterwards, we plan the next steps together.

Can we adapt the six steps?

Absolutely. The flow is a proposal that we adjust in the briefing call to your agenda and your goals.

Where does the workshop take place?

At your site or at an offsite venue of your choice, anywhere in Europe – in English or German.
